Description:

Portside Links takes pride in offering its guests the ultimate in modern comforts and facilities in a relaxed rural setting. The two spacious and luxurious one-bedroom apartments have been designed to create a private retreat for couples, singles, or small families. The two apartments are separated by an enclosed carport to ensure sufficient privacy, and each apartment comes with its own barbecue facilities. The real beauty of the accommodation, however, is the breath-taking views of Grassy Harbour and “Sand Blow” beach. Enjoy the solitude and beauty of the beach at first light, or head to the harbour in the evening for a close encounter with fairy penguins as they return to their colony at dusk. The fully equipped kitchen allows plenty of scope for cooking up King Island’s world-renowned produce, whether it be the fresh steaks from the butcher, freshly caught crayfish or abalone, or some delicious cheese samples from the King Island Dairy.
Both apartments are non-smoking offer a queen bed, kitchen and living area, TV and DVD, ensuite, dedicated BBQ facilities, an undercover car park, ocean views, a 300m walk to the beach and penguins, and offer a foldaway single bed if required.
Hosted by Ken and Marilyn Chapman who live on a large property overlooking stunning Bass Strait on Tasmania’s beautiful King Island. The apartments are private, spacious and are within easy walking distance to isolated beaches and Little Penguins. We love travel, playing with our grandchildren, and great food and wine.
